At Pitmaston Primary School we are proud of our traditions which have been established since the school opened in 1948. At that time Pitmaston House, the former home of a well-known 19th century horticulturist, housed our school which began with 22 pupils. Today we have an excellent purpose built school in the former gardens of the house and have over 600 pupils on roll.
We aim to provide for all our pupils a wide and varied curriculum in an atmosphere of ordered calm. The school is set in beautiful surroundings and has excellent facilities for the delivery of sound primary education with emphasis on high personal standards of behaviour and attainment.
The support given by parents to the school is of tremendous value to us in attaining these goals and I hope we can count on your active support.
